The Global Worship Institute (GWI) is a mobile school of ministry designed to train worship pastors, leaders, musicians, and artists for service in local churches, church plants, and missions. GWI training includes skill, spiritual, leadership, and technical instruction & development. Students wishing to receive their certificate in Worship Arts Ministry will participate in classroom instruction, hands on workshops, personal mentoring, and international worship outreaches for a dynamic and well balanced training and equipping experience.  Check our calander for the next class near you!

Class covers essential aspects of music principles for contemporary worship. Topics include modern chord notation, scales, chord configuration and voicing, contemporary progressions, and becoming a team player. Includes a hands on instructional workshop focused on flowing together with other musicians. This seminar is open to anyone interested in developing their skill level as a worship musician.

Jean Sandoval
Jean Sandoval, guitarist/songwriter/producer, has been blending many sounds and cultures for many years to create a Kingdom sound that will reach all ages and all backgrounds for Christ. Sandoval has toured/recorded with The Garrison Project, The Evolved, 506, Juan Carlos Alvarado, Mike Smith Band, Dayna Varga, Traci Root, among others, as well as leading his own band, Sandoval Band. Currently arranging and producing for many upcoming artists, as well as leading the Worship Ministry at New Life Church in Meriden, CT.


Mike Smith
Mike grew up in Hamden, Connecticut. When he was 16 years old, Mike met the 2 most important people in his life, Jesus and his wife Linda. After 15 years as a worship leader and pastor in New England, Mike and Linda pursued God’s calling to launch Ignite Revolution Ministries and The Ignite Center.
Ignite is a ministry dedicated to releasing a spirit of creativity that will bring a new pioneering spirit in the areas of music, theater, television, graphic arts and media. But more than just the arts, this will also affect the world of technology, inventions, and fresh business and administration practices that will advance the Kingdom of Heaven!
Through creative worship, challenging teaching & impartation, and a sense of family, they are dedicated to seeing The Ignite Center become a thriving community impacting the world with the love of Christ. Pastors Mike and Linda feel called to be a bridge to the generations, bringing people of all backgrounds together with a united vision to release the kingdom of God throughout our culture. It is their prayer that believers all across the northeast would use their God given talents and gifting in combination with life-changing faith to release freedom to the captives.
